My first custom light was a McGizmo Haiku. My second was a McGizmo Mule. My third was a McGizmo Sundrop XR-U. I went from zero customs lights to three in less than a year. Since then I added a couple of triples (Hanko and BOSS). But my most cherished and by far most often carried lights are...
I’m late to the party, but generally agree with the original post comments.
My first serious LED light was a SF Aviator that featured a main xenon bulb and 3 low output LEDs. For EDC I bought a flurry of single AA or A123 powered lights. I finally landed on the Olight T10 which was a...

They have a wide variety of innovative designs, solidly engineered, and built with quality materials at very competitive prices. Customer service is second to none.
Two knives: Frikkie friction folder (fixed by using an o-ring as a rubber band safety), and a small Protech push button auto I carried loose in my pocket.

Extra credit: Car knife is a Spyderco Dragonfly 2 ZDP-189.
I have used a Streamlight 1 cell A123 ProTac holster everyday for the last 5 or so years. It fit my OlightT10, then my Ti EagleTac, and now my McGizmo Sundrop. They are well built, but have no excess bulk. Rides right behind my iPhone.
