Sorry if OT ...
I have a LG Arista entry level smart-phone from about 2016 or '17 with Android 7.1 Nougat. I try to limit the charge to 80% to 90%, but it regularly happens that I carelessly allow it to get to 100%.
My older Dell laptop and newer Lenova laptop (both Win-10) have this...
Stale thread .... sorry (and also thanks for the reply which I was rude not to reply, and also didn't comprehend)
Since the OP, I've gotten more experience with LI-ION batteries and may understand the reply better.
My impression is that the weed-eater battery has multiple standard cells, such...
Thanks for the replies.
I did get a reply from FREMO ... indicating their P201A is Li-Ion. It seems to work fine for charging a low smart-phone. I haven't tried it yet with the Sony full-frame a7Rii, or an ASUS 10" Intel Atom laptop.
I'd hoping to get info on the FREMO P201A external battery:

I checked with Fremo's tech support, and their reply was "has a Lithium battery" ...

I purchased a Wasabi 2 battery + charger bundle for my Sony a7x family camera. I noticed the charger has a removable module that the FW-50 battery itself fits into.

Is it possible to use a simple digital multimeter to measure Li-Ion batteries to evaluate their status for expected performance and remaining useful life?

Is there an equivalent of the Maha MH-C9000 AA/AAA smart charger that would work for various sizes of Li-Ion camera batteries?
My various cameras have 6 different sizes of Li-Ion batteries (Canon Rebel, Canon f.f., Nikon One, Sony f.f., Lumix p-n-s, Canon p-n-s). All have separate chargers...
I came across the following statement in a photography forum, and wanted to check on its validity:
> "Lithium Ion batteries have a limited lifespan of 2-3 years (from time of manufacture)."

My less-than-informed impression was that well made...
The 40x Lithium battery for the Black & Decker weed-eater showed up defective. I’m hoping there is something I can try to get it to work ok.
Original: Lithium-Ion Type 2 54 Wh LBXR36 ... White, black, and orange
Charger shows continuous fast red blinks, indicating “Defective”
The “State of...
I'm fuzzy on what you mean by "discharge current". In a flashlight, would that be the "drain", like "normal brightness for 6 hours"?
What about an external camera flash? Should I try to keep track that the batteries allowed 104 flashes? I wouldn't be able to do that.

Semi-newbie with MH-C9000
I recently came across this FAQ on the www.mahaenergy.com ...

Is any of the info of dubious accuracy?
Is some obsolete?
Is anything "best practices" for new owners (especially non-EE's or non-material engineers), but there are...
