    Which Surefire KL1 generation is this head?

    Definitely square beam. I like it for a small handy walk around light. When I first got it, I used it on on old E2 Executive. I tried looking it up early, but the Gen this and Gen that was hard to sort out and most of the pics in the threads for way back then aren't there to reference.

    I have a few Malkoff M61's and I love them as a GP light with long run times in my 9 volt C3 and Z3, but I put an EDC+ X60LT in my Z2 and it's a thrower for a CR123 powered light.

    No, I'm a part time high school lacrosse official. Nothing to do with LAX except that I do business there on occasion. I do take care of my gear as much as possible. They all have a nicks and dings here an there.
