    Help with UV flashlight

Sorry for my late reply and thank you DoctorMemory for clarifying the 350mW is the UV light output. Like others have said, 395nm is part of the UV-A spectrum. Best regards.

    Help with UV flashlight

Hi everyone. I would like to pick your brains about something... I recently bought an EagTac D25AAA Mini UV - really nice little torch. The label on the package states '1 Watt Ultraviolet' BUT directly underneath it says '350mW 395nm radiant lux' - see photo below. Could anyone help me to...

Hi everyone! I've seen there is another post with awesome pics of the D10 / EX10, so I thought we could start another one for the Nitecore Extreme. I've had mine for about a week and so far I'm really happy with it. It's such as great torch.. :D Below are some pictures I've taken of it (Extreme...

Nitecore Extreme - Couple of questions

I've been reading some posts regarding these chargers. I read the Nano can overcharge after going green, but I couldn't see whether the Surefire would do the same or not. Sorry if this has been asked before, I just would like to get the safer charger.

Nitecore Extreme - Couple of questions

One more thing... I'm planning to get some AW RCR123 batteries for the flashlight. I've already got a Nano Charger, but I wonder if it would be better to get an Ultrafire WF-138. Is it safer or better in any aspects? I've read the Nano charger carries on charging the cell even if the LED goes...

Nitecore Extreme - Couple of questions

Hi there, I'm thinking of getting a CR123 flashlight and I'm nearly decided to get a Nitecore Extreme. Just wondered if Nitecore users could help me with a few doubts? 1. What are the advantages / disadvantages of the strike bezel vs stainless steel? 2. Is the beam larger with the strike...

    Raw NS - Neutral white?

Thanks Steve. I think that may explain why two different torches with the same LED can have different tints. So it seems that, after all, there are cooler and warmer tints for the XR-E. I think both the tint from the Raw NS and the H7 are quite nice. :)

    Raw NS - Neutral white?

Thank you for your quick replies. Zeruel, I can see what you mean when comparing the Cool white & the Neutral white beams. The problem is that I tend to compare my new torches to my old LED Lenser P7 or the H7, both with CREE XR-E LEDS. And what I cannot quite understand is why all these...

    Raw NS - Neutral white?

My friend has taken the H7 with him so now I have to compare to the Energizer again (1 Nichia LED), but despite of the purple tone of the Nichia you can still appreciate the yellowish beam of the Raw NS. Some more beamshots: Energizer LED keychain light VS Raw NS Low (20 lumen): WHITE DOOR...

    Raw NS - Neutral white?

I received my Raw NS back today... but I still have the same yellowish beam  . Supposedly, the LE has been changed but I can't see any difference. Honestly, I first I thought it was just me. But as soon as I compare it to my LED Lenser H7 or the small Energizer you can tell it really...

    Raw NS - Neutral white?

Hi, thank you for your replies. I charged the battery completely but still got the same tone. I have discussed this with Rob and it's definitively a neutral white light, so I will have to send it back. I took a shot of the light for comparison: Energizer keychain light (Nichia LED) on the...
