Has anyone looked into the cheap flashlights on AliExpress that are being labeled as white laser? They are in the $15 to $30 range and the same vendors sell typical led flashlights as well but without the white laser terminology. It could just be fake advertising, but not sure.
I don't care for these options personally. But Walmart has a 3 aaa flashlight (Ozark Trail) for under $2 and Harbor Freight has a two pack that isn't as good of the same variety for $3.

Great question, I had originally assumed $20-50 dollars was a reasonable range. However, when I asked for a ballpark budget number I was told $20. Which is more in line with non-rechargable units.

A friend is looking for a low cost rechargable LED lantern for camping. Does anyone have any reasonably bright, cost effective (edit: very cheap... $20) suggestions that should survive without random failures? Thanks!
