I've sent a third email and I'll try the phone number. The torch was originally bought from and modded by Skylumen but when I contacted him, sadly he no longer has spare drivers for that torch hence trying to see if Acebeam have any.
I have a supbeam x40 and the driver died on it. Everything else works, I can make the led's light up by bypassing the driver and the internal charging works, it's just the driver board that's dead and I'm trying to source a replacement. I've emailed Acebeam through their website but not had any...
Yes, mine is one that was modded by Vinh as well. I've been in touch with him and, sadly, he no longer has suitable drivers for these lights. I've emailed ace beam but not had a reply from them. I'll pop over to budget light forums and see if anyone there can help. Thanks for the suggestions.
The driver has failed on my supbeam X40. The led's all work, as does the battery holder, tail switch etc. It's just a dead driver. I've not been able to find one online anywhere and wondered if anyone on here might know where I could source them please. Alternatively, is there anyone in the...

Thanks to everyone on this thread, I recently too delivery of a red S2+. I went with the T6-3B tint and *6 driver. Only a bit of testing but so far really pleased with the light, which will go in it's pouch on my belt next to my Leatherman Surge. I live and work on a little farm and it'll be...
Great, thanks very much, I'll get one. Just the thing when I'm away as I have a 6 port high power usb charger that all my tech gets plugged into, this means one less thing to pack in the bag.
Re: Need battery recommendation for a Supbeam X40 light (3x18650)
Just been looking through the fasttech site and found two very similar protected 18650 3400mah batteries. Should I choose one over the other for any reason...
Re: Need battery recommendation for a Supbeam X40 light (3x18650)
With the built in charger, I only need to plug the light in, shouldn't ever need to take them out until they're dead, hopefully.
