    Why is the XP-G2 better for outdoors than the XM-L? More throw? I was looking at the XM-L U2 version because it looks like it has a brighter beam.

    That might be the ticket. I just googled it they make aluminium models with XM-L2 and XP-G2 LEDs. Is there some reason I should avoid the aluminium models or was the Ti model just the first one that poped into your head?
