    The batteries have protection circuitry, thats _supposed_ to prevent overdischarge and overvoltage. But that's per individual battery, not the pack...Guess I'll have to remove the batteries each time then.Thanks for the input :)

    Ok, so if I'm gonna have a flashlight in my car that's constantly in cold weather, I should use lithium primaries? Won't the electrolyte freeze?
