    Storm Checkin

I know this is a late reply, I haven't checked in in awhile, but good here. Did deal with hurricane Beryl last summer, lost some roof shingles but that's all. Also had a tornado pass 1/2 mile away a few months ago, didn't even lose power

Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme 4W LED *Now with Pics*

I just picked up a couple of these at K-Mart (I'm assuming this thread is discussing the 3C cell 4W :D), and I must say I'm darned impressed! At first I couldn't tell a difference between the high and low modes, until I put it side by side with my Surefire G3L - WOW! On low, they're...

no source for flashlight switches? I can always wait til i have this cast off and rip a switch out of a cheap(er) flashlight, but I was hoping to hear some ideas...maybe a sealed rocker switch could be cool...just don't know where I'd find one

a question and a random observation

well, I ordered some LED bulbs as per the Snakes in a Light thread to bring my own snake light back to life - and back to life it is! so, pleased with my results, I started plugging the LED bulbs in other lights, when I came across my previous favorite light (), a Rayovac IND2D-B. I was...

    Snakes in a Light!

okay, got my LED bulb the other day, popped it in, much better! Vast improvement over the old bulb (gotta also grant that the old bulb is very old...probably 10 years old, I'd say). For some reason, I thought that the OP used 123s for power originally, so I sought about a way to do so myself...

    New guy looking for advice

I got the regular HA III one, I wanted black, though I did highly consider the stainless steel one (plus, Amazon didn't have the SS...I'm sure I could have found it elsewhere, but I was already ordering from Amazon...)

    New guy looking for advice

Got my Fenix E01 (nice little light, will be a great keychain light, or backpack light); and my ITP A1....WOWZA! I'm officially and ITP fan. 3 modes, all perfect for my needs. Thanks for the great advice! I wouldn't have looked at the ITPs otherwise, and would have overlooked an...

    Snakes in a Light!

I hate to bump a 3 year old thread, but, this really interested me, both in that I, too, was expecting a snake to jump out of the handle of the flashlight - it would have done it to me, anyways - and, I'm interested in giving my old snakelight a bit of a resurrection. I'm curious as to exactly...
