    Small strong AAA light

Hey all, I currently have the Single mode Olight. I like that it’s 1 aaa, very small, single mode and puts out about 100 lums. I need to buy a new light. Is there anything that size and battery that is better?

    Battery Storage?

HI all! I'm sure this has probably been asked but I couldn't find it. I still have in my head that storing batteries in the fridge is the best way. Is that still true for today's batteries? I have several Eneloop AA and AAA. Should I still keep them in the fridge or is room temperature fine? TIA.

Can you leave Charger plugged in?

Pretty basic question as the title states. I want to leave a basic four slot Eneloop Charger plugged in for my son to use. There probably won't be any batteries in it most of the time. I think I've heard your not supposed to do it. Can someone set me straight? Thanks!

    Individual Charger for AAA Batteries?

I'm looking for a basic charger for AAA batts. I need it to be able to charge batteries individually. I only need it to have four slots. I'm not looking for top of the line, just a basic, reliable charger. I just bought the EBL-907, which looked pretty good, but it won't charge my batteries. As...

    Charge It?

I've got about a dozen Eneloops that I might not use for a while. They are a few years old and seem to still work good. Should I leave them uncharged, or should I charge them?

Single mode lights - what advantage?

Interesting thread. I've often wondered about it as well. I always prefer single mode lights. I think most people who need a flashlight prefer them. If you need light, single mode. If you need something to do, multi mode.

    Should I go Pro? Eneloop.

It seems like they may have come down in price. Possibly due to poor performance. Here is an Amazon link for 8 for $22. I paid the $13.49 on Ebay for 4, with free shipping. Ebay has similar pricing as Amazon for 4 or 8. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JHKSL0K/?tag=cpf0b6-20

    Should I go Pro? Eneloop.

Thanks for the responses. I feel about fifty-fifty on the pros. I ordered a 4 pack of AAA for $13.49. Dont really need them. But curious to try them.

    Should I go Pro? Eneloop.

I have been using Eneloops for years and have nothing but praise for them. They all seem to be working fine. I haven't bought any new ones in about 3 years. I am looking to buy a few AAA. The pro has more capacity. But It also is only rated to be recharged 500 times. The regular ones have a...

Brightest Single AA or AAA Flood Light

Thanks for the responses so far. I have been very happy with my Fenix E11 and E05. I've pretty much always used Fenix lights and have loved them. I hate to abandon Fenix but they just are not offering what I am looking for any more. I don't want to start buying a lot of lights(I know that's what...

Brightest Single AA or AAA Flood Light

Hi, I'm looking for either a single Battery AA or AAA that is preferably a forward clicky. Preferably single mode, or no more than dual mode. I want a small, bright, floody, reliable, easy to use light. I like Fenix lights. But I don't like the multi modes of the new E12 and E05. Thanks!

    Fenix Let Me Down

I like the ease and convenience of the two mode light where you twist the head if you want the other mode. So I do feel let down by them not offering it any more. If others and Fenix feel the newer lights are better or they can make more money by changing it then that's their right. Maybe they...

    Fenix Let Me Down

I've always been a big fan of Fenix lights. I often EDC three of them at the same time. They don't seem to be making the type of lights that I like. Preferably a single cell AA or AAA with an easy two mode UI with about 40 lumens on low and 120 on high. The old L1T or E11 were my lights of...

    Floody Bright Single AA

I've looked at the Sunwaymen. I don't like that it has virtually no knurling. The UI looks doable but I prefer a more straight forward clicky. The Thrunite doesn't interest me. I would be willing to spend more for the right light. The Klarus P1A looks promising to me. I'm not crazy about the...
