    To properly quantify your question we'd have to shine both lights at the same distance on the same surface with the same atmospheric conditions. Sorry to not be of more help.........hotspot brightness comparison is not my interest.........throw is!! I do know that the HF HID throws noticably...

    Just curious........can one run the 120P off a AW RCR123?? If I'm not mistaken I thought I noted where the input voltage range went up to 4.5 volts and a fully topped off RCR123 is about 4.2 volts IIRC !???
