    Fenix E20 V2 first impressions

While the E20v2 is a really nice light I don't care for the modes, I really wish it had memory. I use most of my lights on high so it's kind of a pain switching between all the modes everytime you turn on the light. I just ordered a Nitecore MT2A to try out. I like throwier lights and it seems...

    Nitecore EA42 and EA45S

Just found a Nitecore EA42 and EA45S both half off online, pretty excited about it. I only use AA and AAA powered(ENELOOP) lights. I've been looking for some more high power AA lights. I have the Fenix LD42 which I love and the Eagtac SX30A4hi. The Eagtac throws pretty crazy for a 4AA light but...

    Fenix E20 V2 first impressions

Just received my new Fenix E20 V2 today. First impressions are great. Size wise compared to the original E20 is pretty significant. Easily the smallest 2AA light I own. Beam wise it definitely is not as much of a thrower as the original but it produces more of a usable beam. The inclusion of a...

    Fenix E12 v2.0 impressions.

Well after a few more days of using the new E12 I have decided to go back to my Olight for my EDC. I like the clip better on the Olights and I find the light just not bright enough.

    Fenix E12 v2.0 impressions.

Recently acquired the new Fenix e12 v2. After comparing it to my 1AA arsenal (Fenix e12, lumintop tool AA 2.0, Olight i5T, ultratac 1AA, gearlight 1AA) it has become my favorite edc light. The first thing I noticed is the size, it's smaller than any 1AA light that I've ever owned. It has a nice...

    Olight i5T cu impressions.

Well after having it a few days the i5t is starting to grow on me and now find myself reaching for that instead of the lumintop. Off this topic but just recieved the Gearlight s2000 and all I can say is WOW. I love thrower lights especially in AA since I don't use lithium ion.

    Olight i5T cu impressions.

I looked at the zebralight but they seemed not to have cool white and they looked too floody. I'm not a fan of neutral white and I don't care for textured reflectors. They look like well made lights though.

    Olight i5T cu impressions.

Just recieved my i5T. Probably the coolest looking flashlight that I own since its copper but I'm not really impressed with it. It does not seem much brighter at all than my i3T. My lumintop AA 2.0 blows it away with eneloops in both lights.

    Olight i3T and Fenix LD42

Received my Olight i3T last week and I have to say I'm extremely impressed, I just ordered a second one as a backup. It has replaced my Lumintop Tool AA2.0 as my EDC. Any other AAA lights out there that compare to this? (I don't use Lithium-ion). Also recieved my Fenix LD42 and I'm extremely...

    First 18650 light.

I'm definitely going to do some more research but I'm pretty sold on on-board charging. I have a nice nitecore D4 for my eneloops that I can charge an 18650 in if need be. I really love the look of that Klarus xt12gt, it checks off all my boxes but they don't seem to be as popular as nitecore I...

    First 18650 light.

Just watching videos on YouTube. Starting to see more and more though that those batteries are unprotected cheap fakes. I've always worried a bit too much, while I write this from a phone that is powered by lithium ion LOL

    First 18650 light.

I've talked myself out of it again. Seems like everytime I'm ready to pull the trigger I become way over worried and don't do it. Oh well, maybe one day LOL.

    AA lights

Just purchased a Fenix LD42 and a Nitecore EA45S to go with my AA light collection. Now I have those 2 plus the Eagtac SX30A4(ridiculous light for AA powered), Fenix TK41, Fenix E20, Fenix LD12, and the Lumintop tool AA 2.0. Any other AA suggestions would be welcome, I love throwy type lights.

    First 18650 light.

Thank you for the opinions but I'm pretty set on on-board charging. I've also added the nitecore MH25GTS to the list, I know it doesn't throw are far as the other 2 mentioned but it seems to get great reviews.

    First 18650 light.

After years and years of being scared of 18650 technology I'm finally ready to jump in the game. I found a few lights I am interested in, I just wanted some opinions on here. On-board charging is definitely a must. I have it narrowed down to 2 lights. Klarus XT12GT or Nitecore MH25GT. I love...
