Some other information:
I had needed some high current clicky switch for my direct drive lights & decided to try Tana's method of modding the Judco 10A switch to fit a Surefire Z41 tailcap.
I bought 10 switches to build 2, in case I fail big time...:eek:oo:

So long story short, I have managed to make the 2 pieces that I needed (HURRAY) & now I still have several spares parts lying around.
After checking with Tana, he has allowed me to sell my extras switches.

Link to Tana's original build thread

Actual usage:
The first 2 piece that I have made for myself have been used over a week on my direct drive P60 XM-L dropin & Vinh CQvn with no issues.
It has been put into & removed from the tailcap several times & the switch has held it place without budging.

When screwing in the switch, use a long nose pliers & hold the switch on the side.
Stop tightening once you feel sufficient resistance from the rubber boot being compressed.
Do not over tighten as it may potentially dislodge the switch.

Parts used:
Judco 10A switch
Spring: Top diameter 4mm, base diameter 6.6mm, height 6.2mm, line thickness 0.6mm
Brass McClicky retaining ring
Fujik thermal epoxy --> Selley's 2 Part Epoxy

I will contact you via PM when your switch(es) are ready & prompt payment is appreciated.

It takes alot of time & effort to make these switches, so if someone is willing to take his time to make them for others, i do not see whats wrong with it.
Even Tana himself says its troublesome to make them hence he doesn't sell them unless absolutely necessary.
Good luck to you if u plan to make them.

Sure, you can buy the parts for less than $25.

But seeing as I earn nearly $60 an hour that is almost half an hour of my time; I know I couldn't be bothered using my time doing something I will likely mess up (the first time) anyway so go for it if you really are that desperate to save a buck.

That's just me though - I build cars and bikes in my spare time and hate playing with electronics even though I am an electrician - other people get a sense of satisfaction from playing with the little stuff so my hat goes off to them as they keep this hobby going for me.

If I had a use for one, I'd grab one. As it is, my only real use is for my lights from Tana and I'm sure he'll make another one with my next Quad anyway..

These are great switches guys so don't be put off by the fact it costs a fair bit more than actual parts involved. Buy them now instead of wasting weeks of time waiting for parts etc only to give up and order one anyway

Parts may be cheaper, but I agree, time and errors usually make things cost the same , if not more.
$25 is cheap for something like this.

Nice build, I would be in for one. I don't say I would never try making my own switch but chances are small since they seem hard to make.. Plus I need reliability more than anything
To Hiro: great score congrats buddy!

Hi Dell Superman; I cleaned things up for you a bit here. PM me with any other questions or issues. Best with your sale on these nice items!

To others viewing: if you are not interested in the item being sold, simply pass the thread by. Comments on the price are not needed in public in the seller's thread and can be sent via PM if they must be made at all. Furthermore, it is entirely possible to just edit a post to say "Removed" or the like, or hit the Report button and ask for a moderator to delete your post if you are unable to edit it appropriately. There are good reasons for not allowing posts to be wholly deleted by any and all members. The software is not the issue here; simply treat the seller as you like to be treated when selling. Thanks all!

I'll do my part. Count me in for three total.

I would take 1

I have placed an order for all materials for another 14 pieces.
All interested parties names have been listed in post #2.

I appreciate the interest but please understand that these switches take time to make & I can only work on these after work.
Thank you!!!

Would this switch work in other P60 host like the TNC lights?
KuanR, i do not own any TNC light so i cannot say for sure.
If the tailcap has the same kind of threadings as Surefire Z41 tailcaps (fits the McClicky brass ring) then it should work.

If it's the Oveready brass rings, then it should fit! But if I remember, the ring threads in the other way, the contact spring comes out of the hole where your button protrudes from. Wouldn't that be hard to screw in tightly of the tail cap?
