    Thanks for the reply. However i have a few questions about it. When you say "The voltage should still be below the 9v of primaries" does "primaries" mean the cells the light was designed to use? I cant find any expensive cr123 cells. "Lithium-ion rechargeable cells are usually rated at 3.6/7...

    I have so far discovered that silicone grease is the only way to go if i want to lube the thread on my flashlight. Can anyone recommend a cheap grease that i can get from a uk website and am i looking for a spray or thick grease. Thanks!

    Will Turbo mode damage Fenix lights?

    OH! I did not know it was heat that did the damage, i just assumed it was over volting the LED. I would think that the heat would dissipate quickly through the aluminium frame and it would not be a problem.

    Hi, i am new to this forum and torches/flashlights and i have just purchased a Fenix LD 20. The light output of the turbo mode is a must for what i am using it for and i would like to know if anybody knows if it will damage the flashlight using it in turbo mode. Thanks.
