I ordered a number of CC (What I thought were CC drivers) from ebay- turns out, they're CV- MagTech does a wonderful (OK, it IS Spelled out if you study their spec) job of differentiating their products.
lp1040-24 is a 24V, 1.67A CV product
lp1040-24-C is a 24V, 1.67A CC product
I have a number of LEDs that I need to drive, in series, at 1A to 1.5A. I was debating whether or not it would be worth trying the poor man LUX Regulator using a 1A AMC 3150 chip from DX and one of these units (I could power 6+1 on each string), then order another 1.4A unit).
I also have a bunch of 1.75A Xitanium drivers - and thermisters- to hook up. However the max current listed on the LEDs are 1.5A, and 1.75A makes me significantly nervous... although they will be actively cooled on this heat sink:

(and yeah, it's big and heavy... woot!)
I also have 2x Xitanium 1A drivers I can use for now, if need be. Not the best choice though...
Ideas? Suggestions?
