If I were to get a raw with the 100 lumen emitter, what could I realistically expect for the runtime. I know it says 90 minutes, but what does that mean? Is that 90 minutes to a dead battery or around 100 lumens for 90 minutes till it starts to dim. I see some lights use x number of minutes to 50%, is that what this means? I may have to order the Raw Al or Ns because the new CR2 light doesn't appear to be forthcoming soon. I would like the camo version, but have not heard much about it lately.

I'm going to do a runtime on my Raw NS 100 for you. I can't produce a fancy graph but every few mins I'll compare to a light of known brightness. Wait and I'll report back the results when done :)

Raw NS 20/100 cool white - runtime on high (100 lumens) with 14250 250mAh:
Comparision light: Fenix T1 on low.

0 minutes: Brighter than T1
30 minutes: Brighter than T1
60 minutes: Brighter than T1
75 minutes: About the same as the T1 / maybe a little dimmer
80 minutes: Dimmer than the T1
85 minutes: Significantly dimmer than the T1 but still brighter than my Wee NS 25
90 minutes: Dimmer than Wee NS 25

After resting for 15 minutes, the battery voltage was 3.25V and still climbing.

From this data I'd recommend that one stops using the light after about 80 minutes. Even at 90 minutes when the light is significantly dimmer (you'd definately notice it's running flat at this time even if you were adjusting to the light) the battery should still not be damaged.

YMMV. Battery had been charged a week ago using my Nano charger which I'm pretty sure does not fully top off the batteries. I estimate it charges them to 90%. Battery had no use between the charge a week ago and now as it's my spare cell.

Thanks, that is what I was looking for. A general idea not a three page dissertation filled with technical facts that would mean nothing to me.

Thanks Zipplet, :twothumbs

Any chance of a beamshot comparrison with a 200 lm Raw :D
