I was at a super center over the holiday and saw a Vector but haven't been able to find anything here about it. Can't find it on their site either.

It was a 2 mcp Vector in camo. It did not have a swivel handle but did have an area light at the bottom of the grip which I thought it said was ccfl but didn't look like it. It was 12v, quite large and had an axial (? front to back filament) bulb. Was priced at $39.99. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Any info on these? Looked like it might be worth getting. May have to go back in the future (60 miles) and give it another once over. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Shouldn't be 39.99, if it's the Vec 138 (sale price should be 19.99, regular price about 29). It's actually a nice light, with good throw and some nice design features. The little spot is good. The back slides off, so battery replacement is easy and the switch locks in the "on" position. The top has a flismy stand, but at least you can put in on the ground and leave it on. Throw is about even with the 3 million Vector (just tested it, yes I'm bored-the 2 mill has a bigger reflector but the 3 mill has 2 100 watt bulbs). Overall output of the 2 mill is obviously less. Still, very good spot. I think it's the one with a 75 watt bulb, so you can upgrade to a 100w if you really want, but overall it's very bright as is.
