12volt, LED Flood Clues

Hi All,

I am looking for info on any type of 12 volt LED based, exterior flood light that can be surface mounted (verticaly) for use on a custom RV I am building.

I summize that I may have to build one of these. There are plenty of decent incandescent, donor housings out there. Where is a good place (price) to buy white or amber LED clusters or even Luxeon Star LED's?

Check out westmarine.com They sell quite a few LED units that are small and made for marine/RV use. I think you can find sililar units other place, probably cheaper.

There's a guy selling zillions of Nichia LED's for silly prices in the Buy/Sell/Trade secton of this webite. 10000mcd greens for as little as 34c. He has some white ones, too.
