15 MCP

Im looking to get my hands on one of these 15 mcp spotlights. The cyclops one is fairly cheap but I am curious whats the best one of these lights? Prices ranges from 40 to 80 dollars are these all the same light? Anyone with one of these 15 mcp lights want to share their experience with it? Do they like? I want one thats a cross between a quality built spotlight and a decent price. What do you guys recommend?

All the 15MCP lights that I've seen look to be the same "Cyclops Thor", by this manufacturer.

Mostly, people have bought them from Costco, I think, for about $29.99.

This light is quite impressive. It is definitely a spotlight/searchlight beam.
It is brighter, with more throw than both my cars' headlights on high beams.

There are a lot of threads on this board with words and beamshots.

I bought one from costco for $29.99. It's my brightest flashlight for sure. Buy it from costco if you can, they have excellent return policy, you can't go wrong with it.

Cyclops Thor 15MCP is in the bottom left of my sig line. Brightest light in my arsenel. Not to good for EDC, but can really blast a target at range. Not sure how easy bulb replacement will be, but that hasn't been an issue yet.

Enjoy reading a lot in these forums and learning a lot too. I noticed the pics on "powernoodle's" sig line and noticed the "Thor" which I just found out to be the same as the "Johnlite" I am using. I guess there are a lot of diff brands but all from one manufacturer.

I changed the H4 bulb to a Raybrig 55/60W to extend runtime and light output is still almost the same as the original Philips 90/10W but much whiter. Only thing is the light is quite heavy to be carrying around.

if you mod to hid it will draw even less power and be even whiter and brighter than stock.
