I'm planning on modding a 1D maglite that is tri-bored for 17670. I want to use an SSC P7 and was considering a single li-ion D cell, 3x17670 parallel, or 3xAA NiMh in series. Any suggestions? Since it's tri-bored, I'm leaning more towards the 17670 with battery holder.
