I am posting this thread to find out if anyone has a good idea of where we can get these elusive 18650 cells. I've heard laptop batteries have em, but when I ask, no1 has old battery packs.
Also, do you think it is realky neseccary to use protected cells? I know its a dumb question, but if you supervise your cells, what danger could there possibly be?
btw, was wondering if those lipo safe fire prevention bags are useful or just a bunch of baloney.
