i AM NEW TO FLASHLIGHTS AND AM WONDERING WHICH BATTERY AND CHARGER TO USE FOR THE 18650 SIZE. LOWEST COST WOULD BE NICE BUT NOT NECESSARY, THANKS

Bro I have been using the tenergy battery and charger that's being sold for 30 usd on amazon and I use the batteries everyday at work 5times a week. I would reccomend the tenergy 2x 18650 with charger, but I just ordered the soshine orbotrinic with 4x18650 and the charger on amazon. Bc the two tenergy batteries no longer hold a good charge but they lasted 6 months which is pretty darn good about 3 months for each battery. Also I Have a fenix pd31 which I use with the tenergy batteries if you have any other questions feel free to ask me. And since I have a pd31 which I use for work, my parents just ordered pd32 bc they absolutely loved it. The reason for me buying the soshine orbotrinic is to try something different I have done my research on 18650's and I wanna give them a try.

There's lowest cost for the charger to consider, and then there's the higher cost to replace the batteries that didn't last as long because you used a cheap charger.

The chargers you want will charge the batteries in a way that is less likely to ruin them...and cost alone is not what determines that. If you go to the reviews here, and look for the ones on batteries and chargers, you can see some really in depth reviews that explain this....or skip to the recommended chargers a the end of the reviews.

:D

Wow never really thought of it like that. Thanks!! What charger do u guys recommend for an 18650 batteries under $50

You can get Pila IBC (seems to be most respected charger here) for $45-50, and AW's 2200mAh protected's for $10 each (or TrustFire 2500 mAh Blue's for $8/pair, they aren't horrible either).

Man thanks I should have joined these forums a long time ago. So many ppl that love flashlights. If something happens to my pd31 anytime soon I'm getting the fenix tk45 or what do u guys reccomend for a new led
flashlight has to have at least 315 lumens something I can carry with me

I have 3 favorite brands. Redilast, AW, and Callie's Kustom. Why are they favorites? They work flawlessly. Buy a good charger like Pila.

XTAR WP2 is a very good charger, balancing the battery life and charger initial cost. :)
