Hi, I've heard a few stories about CR123 Batteries exploding recently and it has scared me a bit (I'm sure the actual risk in minimal)
Anyway, I'm trying to phase out using CR123s wherever I can and use a single 18650 instead. Most instruction manuals will state whether a flashlight can use both and in my experience, most do.
An exception being my surefire Fure and EagleTac T10LC2. the Batteries fit nicely in the surefire, so I know an 18650 won't fit.
Wth the EagleTac, 2No. CR123 Batteries rattle about a bit. This makes me think an 18650 would work fine.
I know the simple solution to this is just put one in and see, but as my drive to try this is to avoid a possible explosion (again, I know the risk is very slim) I don't want to go ahead as this (i think) could result in an explosion (or at least damage to my light)
Anyway - long introduction out the way - does anyone own an EagleTac T10LC2 or T10C2 and successfully use an 18650 to power it?
Thanks
