1xAA FourSevens body without clip?

Just ordered the FourSevens 1x123 QPLC (tactical). I currently have the 1xAA QPA (pro) and from what I understand I will be able to swap the bodies around between the 1x123 Tactical and the 1xAA Pro. One things I don't really care for to much on my 1xAA QPA is the clip. Yes it can be removed easily enough, but I don't like the extra space or the loose plastic ring that is left on the 1xAA body that is there with the clip removed.

Looking at the FourSeven site I don't see any 1xAA bodies without a clip.
Did FourSevens ever may a 1xAA body without a clip or are there any after market bodies being made?

Hi,

Nope, there is no AA body without clip. If you want, you can use the quark head with a Fénix LD10 body...

Interesting, does that really work?
I just tried using my LD12 body with the quark head and the head screws on the Fenix LD12 body, but the light don't work. :(

I can lego my quark head with my fenix pd20 and ld10 body without any issue. Maybe the side switch, or are you sure your quark head is a low voltage 0.9 - 4.2 V ?
The head of my low voltage quark head work on my fenix pd20 and ld10 without any problem, and the fenix head on the quark body too.

Yes, I simply removed the quark head from the foursevens 1xAA body and put it on my Fenix LD12 body.

The quark head works fine on the foursevens 1xAA body and it's how I received it from foursevens.com

That makes sense as the LD10 and LD12 bodies and tailcaps are not interchangeable: apparently they screw in but then the lights won't work.
