I am looking for a small (<= 2") 1xCR123 clicky flashlight. Position of clicky switch doesn't matter to me. OTF, I'd like ~200-300 lumens max, and multi-modedness. Preferably moonlight (lowest mode on my Fenix PD32 isn't quite low enough, it's about 9 lumens IIRC), low, medium, and high power levels.

I'd be using this as my light (athletic clothing) EDC light, where lumens aren't as big a deal. This would also be my fumble-out-of-bed-and-look-for-clothes-in-the-morning light, and similar tasks. 9 lumens seems to be too much for completely unadjusted eyes.

My budget is a max of $50, so I am willing to entertain some concessions if necessary to keep it below that number. I'd prefer $30 or less if possible, but I know that is stretching it. I'd also be purchasing from the internet, but possibly from a brick and mortar store near Cleveland, OH, if they had it.

Anyone know of any lights that might fill the bill? (Think Fenix E15 but with a clicky switch)

1 X CR123 (and AA/14500) are some of my favorite light formats. The Eagletac D25c with the XP-G2 in either cool or neutral tints, lumens: 381/251/35/1 + disco modes...can be had for $49.99 @ Illumination Gear (and prob a few other online dealers) and would seem to fulfill your req's. It's also considered one of the best lights (and smallest) currently avail re: warranty, build quality, tint consistency, and extremely good runtimes for the format. EDIT: Can also use 3.7v Li-ion rechargeable batteries.

<= 2" as in total length? Good luck with that, a CR123A battery alone is about 1.36", that would leave just 2/3" of length for everything else around the battery.

Olight S10-L2 Baton should fit your bill, and is around $40-50. Or perhaps you can find a good deal on an Olight S10 Baton, which I'd imagine dealers are clearing out of their stock. Essentially identical to the S10-L2, but I've read some people complaining about a greenish tint on the S10 (don't know if that's true, or if so, to what degree). Unless you're squeezing every penny, I'd look for the later model.

Got one just a week ago, and must say I'm very happy with my S10-L2. Small, well built, good runtimes for a CR123A light, and has a moonlight mode. Like the original S10, takes rechargeable CR123's too.

Confirmed...at least in the 2013 versions and the 2012 titanium version, prior models of the light would run on 16340's but would limit modes available. I have the 2013 titanium and have no issues with using 16340's, its an excellent light and has replaced my Olight S10 for edc.

You can...I have two 2012 D25c models and a 2013 and use 16340's exclusively. With the 2012's you do loose medium, but all other modes, including flashing modes, work as designed.

Take a look at the Solarforce Z1. It doesn't quite match your specifications but it's only $19 shipped. Mfr specs:

Medium (115 L): 80 min
Low (35 L): 6 hr
Moon (7 L): 50 hr

Length x diameter (head / body): 77.5 x 20.5 / 21mm

Weight: 37g

I got the Titanium neutral XM-L one a year ago for those same purposes. Works better at that than anything else I've tried.

I've never seen a clicky CR123 light <= 2".
Even the Nautilus and 47's Mini, which are very small twisties, are 67mm/2.63" and 2.3", respectively.
Lumapower IncenDio was regarded as "tiny clicky CR123 light" not long ago, and it's 3" long.

This was very helpful. Just what I was looking for too. Thanks.
