Yes, the average CPF'er should have no problem getting in.

Can you expand on this a bit, Peter? Do we need to purchase badges, or can those be supplied by Arc? I'd hate to get all the way out there, and still not be able to enter the show!

The 2004 SS is going to be a lot of fun! I hope to see you all there.

Jeff Hong ("CPF Host") is organizing the party. He has found a location and is setting up the food, drink, etc. Arc is footing the bill (my pleasure). Everyone is invited: CPF, flashlight manufacturers, etc.

We will have a booth at the show. I will post our booth number in a week or so. Getting into the show is a pretty easy thing. In December, we will have VIP tickets. Just ask for one and we will send it to you. These get you in the show for $15 (reg $45). Just put that you are a guest. No reason to say you are something your not. This is a easy show to get into guys. You can also register on the website if you want but I think it is more expensive.

As far as where to stay, this is up to you. Some people may want to do groups, etc. As long as everyone gets to the party, the rest are just details. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks Peter!

Online registration is just $15 as well, but then you still need some fancy "trade" number somewhere. I guess the VIP tickets are the way to go though.

Getting exciting. Now I just need to excite my wife... so to speak.

I will be posting a rather lengthy post regarding Shot 2004 in the next week or so. It will contain all the pertinent information about attending the show (how to obtain passes)some suggestions on where to stay, and most imprtantly, the CPF party, which will be on Saturday, Feb 14 at 7pm.

Super Jeff!

Do us all a favor and let's start a new thread now that we're getting serious - otherwise we'll lose it in here! Thanks in advance for all the organization and effort!

Brock - sorry I didn't keep up with this thread, but thanks for keeping me updated via email. I'll try and get my family there so our sig others can have somebody to complain to.

Peter - You're a prince for underwriting the festivities!

OK, back to lurk mode until we get some more details....

Both Darell and Wife-of-Darell area like 90% there. Some GREAT help was just offered, meaning that we'll be childless for the first time in 3. 5 years. Adult beverages, anybody?

are cpf moderators required to go? because if so, i may have to try especially hard. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

to be honest, right now, it's not looking good /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
i think we're looking about about a 4% probability here /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

another issue, is not knowing what the hell is going on. i've never organized a trip before, and have no idea what do to and/or when to do it.
somone aught to post step by step directions on what i should do...

I am pretty sure you can't get in under any circumstances if your under 21, what with the guns and all, and I mean LOTS of BIG guns. I can't remember how old everyone is, but for some reason, Roth I though you were younger. Sabby is out for sure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Jeff I would also second the idea of starting another thread once you get some more details.

Thanks again Peter, I will be there this year, no work on Sun am for me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll start a new thread on Sunday. Leave this open for now... I'll take care of it all once I've had a good night's sleep. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sleepy.gif

OH! And we'll need two passes... Thank you for everything Peter! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Wow, I am so there already (at least in my mind and in my plans):

Please disregard the last text I had in this space, as I went on-line and registered as a Guest of Show for $15. But thank you still for the kind offer, PeterG...
