2008 Surefire Catalog

I just picked up the 2008 Surefire Catalog. As I was flipping through the pages it dawned on me just how elaborate this catalog was. The colors, the professional flashlight pictures that were perfect, all the statistical data and charts about their lights, and pictures of the people who work there that obviously love their work. It is truly a work of art for just a flashlight catalog. ( Excuse me, Illumination Tools Catalog). For those who love lights ( even if your not a Surefire affectionado ) the catalog is a treasure to behold.

Below a picture of two of the pages; just look at the color and detail. As you can see my photographic skills are no where near a match.

I called my local dealer a few days ago and asked if they had any yet. They said "sure do Bill, come on in" So I finally went today and they gave me two Illumination Catalogs and Two Tactical Products Catalogs and hold on to your hat..................................................................

When I get a chance tonight or tomorrow, I will shoot a picture of the cover of the calendar. I am not sure if I want to break the factory plastic to open it up. It's kind of like my Titan, do I break the factory plastic and keep it, or play with it, or keep it factory sealed to sell it on ebay at twice the original cost. Oh wait a minute I don't have a Titan. Silly me.

I'm looking at the PDF catalog right now and it really is beautiful. I'm totally drooling over the UB2 Invictus, 400 lumens on tap? 8 lower power settings that I can use to extend battery life?? I'm there. What I'm missing though is the L4, I lost mine last year and was waiting on surefire to release one with one of the SOTA leds. The UB2 is awesome but it's almost 2 inches longer than the L4

Surefire catalogs don't just show the product, but also an elaboration of the company...so it doesn't fall into the "throwaway after year" categories.
