2012 In-Depth 18650 Battery Reviews

I don't know who did these reviews (I'm assuming possibly someone from this forum), but nevertheless it's an excellent review of most of the 18650 (and similar) batteries out there today. Very well done. Could be very helpful, so many thanks to whoever did this! :) Includes batteries which are close to the 18650 size such as 16650, 17650 and 18700.

the only issue I have is it shows the xtar 3100 and eagletac 3100 at the same diameter and mine are not the xtars are thicker for sure

Do you have the black or the white EagleTac 3100s? Maybe they have different diameters.

Looks like the ones HKJ reviewed were black. Perhaps they have a different diameter.

Each cell builder chooses there own parts and each builds to there own specifications. The ability if a given cell to represent all cells from a given builder is limited by how widely those specifications vary from cell to cell (aka, tolerance or +/-).
