I had some trouble with AAAs from this source: they didn't show up properly to my charger (AccuPower 2020) until they'd been cycled half a dozen times or so, and one or two leaked.

However, once they settled down, they work just fine, as far as I can tell. But unless you need a lot of units cheaply, you might be happier with a couple of sets of higher quality.
