I had never really used this battery since I bought it. When received it measured somewhere between 4.15 and 4.20V, cant remember now. I never charged it as ir was almost full. I did use it for some tasks and today, while its still registering 3.72V, I wanted to charge it, but no go.
First I tried my hobby charger. It sends 0.00A of current and after a few seconds it says battery is full. Then I hooked it up to my Trustfire charger do doublecheck. The light remains green as if there is no battery. How is this possible that it dont want to accept charge, but still lights up my 500Lumen quad core D26 Drop-in? I did get a case like this before when I had a battery that would not charge, but its voltage was zero. This one seems fine when tested with a multimeter. Is it advisable to remove the protection circuit?
