26650 Torch

Hello,

I am seeking for a new flashlight and I came across this flashlight kit on ebay.

I am wondering if keygos on ebay is a reputable seller and if those batteries are protected (It states it is but I don't tend to trust Hong Kong Sellers)

Doesn't look like a bad deal, but just from the pics its hard to tell. However, I can say for certain that its not gonna be 1600lm. Likely 400-500. Gonna be a crapshoot on quality. Expect terrible, then if it turns as expected, your not dissapointed, and if its ok, then your happy.

In the past these have been decent quality. They cost more then. More recently, there have been reports of mediocre quality in some components, fit and finish, etc on delivery.

Keygos is as much dependent on their suppliers as any other Chinese brand, and this is true of ANY budget Chinese light, but I have not seen any that were terrible, and a step above the junk that I see selling for the same $$$.

The batteries sell for $16 separately, so the value in the deal if you need a free charger. They are IMR, and I've seen these tested at around 3000mAh, so the batteries are ok for the cost, but have less capacity than Li-Ion Trustfires or King Kongs in the same price range.

Same $$$ invested in well known name brand 18650 batteries can be used as the light will work as well on top quality 18650s as it will on a lesser quality 26650.

Yes I would not expect 1600 Lumens but I would hope it would have the same lumens like this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-1600...king_Lamps_Torches&hash=item1e73447c8e&_uhb=1 .

Can anybody confirm it's brightness?
