I just got my Trustfire TR-1200 from bestofferbuy for $42. A STEAL!

And I am ABSOLUTELY content! It is very bright. Great body quality. Has no driver issues whatsoever that I read here on CPF. I am not sure about this light at DX but BOB has it very very good.

Here are some beam shots for you guys to compare.

Send me questions if you have any.

Re: TrustFire TR-1200 From Bestofferbuy.com

I would like to see it compared to the TK-45 and the Solarforce Masterpiece MCE. Thanks

Very nice shots, thank you!
It would be great to see a shot of the C78 with a 14500, that looks like it has the potential to be a real budget thrower!

I can post up more beamshots later. But right off the bat I can tell you that the C78 is the best thrower I have seen for about $10. With 14500 this light is just crazy bright. Looks much brighter than X2000 with a 18650! Throws as far and as bright as Tr-1200 with my eyes. But then The TR-1200 has much more useful light.

This is interesting.

DX sell this and for the last few months it has been plagued with driver problems!

Perhaps bestbuyoffer have old stock which has the original and great driver?

Yeah Im glad you found a TR1200 with a good driver. It is an awesome light if it has a decent driver that can get close to 1 amp to each LED. Or even 500 to 700mA makes it pretty bright.

I got 1.2 amp at the tail cap. Sadly to say it throws almOst identical to my eageletac m2xc4. May be the tr-1200 might even throw a tad brighter to my naked eyes. Either way it has more lumens and won the celing bounce aginst the m2xC4. I opened up the head and put a thick layer of thermal paste around the reflector/pill to absord the heat and now the tr-1200 runs excellent. You just can't beat this light for $42. Period. I have an extra m2c4 head with no body and eagletac sells just the body for $50 alone. Do u guys think it's worth it to by the body/handle for $50?!
