I have a couple of torches that are 2D sized, and are set up to use 2 18650 Li-Ions. I am trying out AWs C sized Li-Ions, and they seem to work pretty well diameter wise with a 1" ID PVC. However, 2 C cells are shorter than 2 D cells, and definitely shorter than 2 18650, so it looks like I will need a spacer to make the C cells become as long as the D cells.

I don't have a lathe to turn anything, and I would like to take my torch this next weekend, when I am supposed to be a cabin leader for my son's 4th & 5th grade spring camp.

Anyone have any ideas on what would be a good spacer?

Thanks.

I have been running 2 AW "C" cells in a 2D mag without any spacer.
I just had to stretch the spring a little.

I am using some thinwall PVC to prevent rattling, as you are.
