2D Mag61 runtime, is my math right?

For rough approximations, I'd agree it's probably more accurate than assuming 60.
 
737mech now that the WA1111 bulb has been mentioned it would be a great alternate mod if you wanted to run DD 6AA instead of the Philips 5761. Do not get me wrong I love the juicy beam of a Mag61 on 7.0-7.2 volts. The WA1111 bulb is no slough and has a much better chance of surviving a freshly charged 6AA pack. The WA1111 bulb has a small but intensely white beam. I have never managed to instaflash my WA1111 Mag on 6AA. I am still on my first bulb with this kind of build.

I have both in 2 D format, the 5761 will severely out throw the 1111 but, you are right about the small white beam of the 1111. And yes they have a wonderful hotspot, much better than the 5761 IMO. Also you have to consider that the 1111 will run at about 2 less amps which will help with your runtime.
