2x C-cells = 26650?

Just wondering if anyone knows the exact dimensions of C-cells? I saw a very attractive light to mod for $7.99 and was wondering if 26650 cells can fit? I'm not a huge fan of 26550 cells and would resort to cutting the negative contact spring to obtain that space needed.

What does the light has? UCL lens, SMO aluminum reflector, side-switch, "crappy, crappy" driver/LED that can easily be changed out when I re-do a new pill, and a 1, 1/4" head.

I believe that C cells are 26500.

So I have to trim off 30mm to fit 26650 cells? OR, I can just cut the body down and make it a single 26650 cell light :D

I believe that C cells are 26500.

I think often times they are a little less, more like 25500. Because I know some IMR 26500's don't fit all C-cell flashlights, and most 26650's are too wide for C-mags.

Yes, C size is 25500.

Most C maglites need to be bored to fit 26mm cells.
