3 volt white leds?

Hey Guys,

I'm a new kid on the block that'll probably be here quite often. I'm new to leds and to electronics in general, but enjoy building flashlights and such with my boy. With this in mind, is it possible to build a flashlight with one white led and a 3volt power source? I read that the lowest white leds are 3.4v. I also read that All Electronics carries a 3v white led, I'm confused.

welcome! they probley aren't very bright or we'd be using them

the quantity requirement may put you of but don'tlet it. they are high quality and ive ordered dozens of leds from them. worth every penny
