3 X 123 in 2C MagLite

Hey, I'm new on the board. This place is AWESOME. I thought I was crazy when I fit 3 lithium cells in a 2C Maglite and fitted a 6D bulb in it. You guys are OUT OF CONTROL! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bulbs: I have been searching far and wide for the Maglite brand LMSA06 (I think) which is their Magnum Star Xenon 6D bulb. I couldn't find a comparable bulb at Rat Shack /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It a sickness alright. One day you're an average Joe buying a cheap flashlight from Walmart, then it hits you. You start finding yourself browsing the CPF every once in a while, then every day or so, then every day. Words like LED and HID come from your mouth out of the blue. You start buying real flashlights, you start selling real flashlights on B/S/T. You catch yourself talking about flashlights to people that don't even care about them. The "what ifs" of modding start entering into your mind. Before you know it you begin to chuckle as you go down the flashlight isle at Walmart. Next thing you know, you're strung out on the streets looking through peoples trash on garbage day just to see if they threw out any good batteries with that old radio of theirs. Your wife wants to check you in to a flashaholic center but she can't find any in the phonebook. And it's all down hill from there.

Try a FIVE cell Magnum Star in that light. You really have something then. I have yet to "smoke" a bulb.
