3D Printable Flashlight

Just found this on Make and thought I would post it here for everyone to :huh: at. This would definitely qualify as the smallest flashlight I've ever seen. Needless to say I really wish I had access to a 3D printer!

There are a lot of companies that do fast prototyping with 3d printers, they'll be pricey, but some specialize in small jobs.

Also, custom jewelery makers sometimes have them, call around.

You can find someone to print it for you with a little searching.

Wouldn't be hard to make one by hand if you had some simple tools and a bit of dexterity. Though hardly a flashlight.

3D printing is a very promising technology. It's excellent for prototyping, but when I can buy mass-produced DX piggy lights for $.21/ea shipped, it's hard to beat injection molding.
