4+ whiteness level?

I just received my 4+ and love it. The on-line simulators made the menu options feel familiar and easy to change.

The light seems brighter than my LSL & LSH on power levels 1 & 2 and about the same on level 3.

My only 'concern' is the noticeable yellowish tint of the light when compared to my other ARC lights, both of which are the standard models.

Should this be the case? Thanks in advance for any advice. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: 4+ whiteness level?

This is normal. Mine has the slightest hint of green on lower power levels. But it is whiter than my Surefires and Arc LSHF-P. Tint variations are normal.

Re: 4+ whiteness level?

arc uses LEDs that are either pure white (like a flourescent lamp) or slightly blue-tinted. it is likely your other arcs are slightly blue tinted, hence the warmer white of your new arc4+ would appear yellow or green in comparison. however if you use the light in various lighting conditions, you'll find an LED with a very slight green tint appears the most white under almost all conditions.
