Anyone can recommend some good 4x5mm White LED FlashLight (on AA or AAA)? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Brighter than any 4 5mm led that I know of, and about as bright as the Inova x5t is the Gerber Trio 2aa which is availlable for $20 from thebatterystation.com as a CPF member special.

Eternalights (www.techass.com) are great, 4x5mm Leds, runs on 3AAs, long runtimes, user selectable modes, dimmable, allows for Lithium AAs usage for long storage and floating capability, etc etc...

I think some of the Tek-tite (www.tek-tite.com) AA lights use 2-4 5mm Leds too...

Hope this helps! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Gotta second the recommendation for the EternaLights. It ain't your typical flashlight.

Those Trek (or Expedition) lights have excellent color, much whiter than most other LED flashlights that use 5 mm LEDs. (Luxeons can outmatch them in color, output, and throw, of course.) They are a bit pricey for what you get, however. Fortunately, I've seen some online sites putting them on sale.

If you don't get a Trek light, I would recommend the Lightwave 2100.

Hey Thanks! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanks.gif

Hope to see more special & unconventional models also!

Keep coming please!

Longbows rec for the Gerber Trio is RIGHT on.

Lovely workmanship, and finish. Mine is as bright as an inexpensive China 8/LED I recently purchased.

It is a STEAL at $ 20. Nothing compares to this light, at this price.
