Sweet review. This light becomes more appetizing every time I see it!

It's starting to grow on me as well. lovecpf
Wish I would have bought the Preon AAA/2AAA kit. I can use that as an excuse to buy the titanium version.

Thank you.

When I asked 4Sevens to borrow a unit for review it was mostly out of curiosity; I never would have bought this, or any other 2xAAA flashlight for that matter. But it really does grow on you, especially when you get to use it

Thanks for the reply. For me, it's annoying. Glad I purchased mine as part of the Preon kit. When carried, I use the AAA body with the twist UI.
Are you talking about just the button with the 4/7 on it? I don't understand how it could be annoying. It's not even noticeable during normal use. At least not for me. You have to turn it with finger and thumb to get it to turn.

Maybe mine's a bit different.

I barely press the button, and I can feel the cover start to turn. It's possible that your's isn't quite as loose as mine. I originally got it for redundant capability with my 2AAA Peak Eiger penlight. But shortly afterwards, I bought a AAA Maratac model that has worked out as an EDC light to a surprisingly good degree.

With the annoying rotation of the tailcap cover, the AAA body installed gives me redundant capability with my Maratac instead of my Peak. The tailcap looseness is pretty bad on my Preon sample.
