5 watt medical laser

Saw this and started wondering if there was anything interesting I could do with it. How much do you think it would be worth? I hate it when they don't post prices. http://denver.craigslist.org/bar/602892977.html

It appears to say 'CO2 laser' which would mean it's a high power infrared laser, very dangerous because you cannot see the light as it's blinding you. It could be used for cutting and burning though (goggles a must, and probably water cooling, too).

the medical lasers like that have a targeting red helium neon or similar laser. if any of it even still works.

if you can get it for less than $500 it's probably a ok deal. any more than that and you can build a MUCH more powerful co2 laser yourself.

the other option is to ebay it for parts.
