Yeah, too big and complicated to build, must have taken that guy ages to solder all those LEDs. He could have just used one CBT-90 LED instead.
 
LOL that flashlight is actually how I found this web site, all those long years ago....

One of the comments on the website I was on said something like "too bad the guy didn't talk to anyone on CPF, they could have told him to use real high powered LEDs".. I checked out this place and have been hooked ever since.
 
Use Google cpf only at the top of every CPF page, 500 LED Flashlight.
Lot's of posts and threads re this huge light. Closing this one.
