5mm LED lights inside frame.

i want to put in 14 5mm LED lights in a frame for one of my paintings i did some research and to be honest i dont really understand it well, so i was wondering if anyone with knowledge of LED lights can help me out and tell me what materials i need to buy.

extra info:
-hoping to use some kind of battery as a power source or a wall wart.
-all lights connect to one source.

I agree, an led strip would be a better solution. It's completely flat. Trying to install 5mm lights would involve too much drilling and wiring to make it as flush as the SMD style light strips.
