Basically, I'm looking for an LED light that's rugged enough for weapons usage. Must have some water resistance to it, and be longer than 7". Preferably between 8 and 10 inches. I have plenty of CR123A batteries, but am fine with 18650 as well. Looking to spend less than $80. I can wiggle with the budget a little. I want at least 200 lumens.
Overready has a body that's 130mm that seems to be good, but is out of stock. The Surefire G3 would be nice but I would have to spend more money to convert it to an LED light.
I have a Solarforce L600, which is more or less perfect in terms of length... but it's heavy and I don't want an incan light.
Worse comes comes to worse, I will buy a G2 Nitrolon with a body extension and an LED drop in, but I prefer not to MacGyver the light to fit my needs.
Something compatible with Surefire/Solarforce Tape Switches is a plus, but not a requirement.
