7led brinkmann mod

this is my first mod. the soldering on the led module isnt that great. the brinkmann is a 2aa version with the rubber grips removed. the grips were sliding so i decided to remove them. the glue comes off with rubbing alcohol. under the grips are a ringy type texture. currently the led module is being driven off of 2aa batts but i soon hope to get some 2/3aa nimh batts. brightness isnt that good but enough of a flood that i can navigate a dark house. almsot forgot but im using white leds

Congratulations on your first mod! Yes, putting in 2/3AA NiMH will give you the brighter light you desire.

Cool! And you could try 3 N's too, available at any Wal-Mart or drugstore...
