8 & 12 ohms SMT resisters for firefly

Will you be offering smt resisters for firefly? The 16 ohm is just too dim for me. My 33 ohm board is waiting for a 8 ohm.

I'm having a tuff time finding them, would like to try 8 ohms & 12 ohms in particular.

Aother reason for increasing amps, besides getting brighter low setting is to reduce green tint. All my sammies go green at 16 ohms, except one MM+ R2H.

Another project waiting for an 8 ohm is upgrading my LSHP w/twisty. Will rev2 firefly board (for CR2) be small enough to fit in Arc 123 twisty without removing center post?

CY, the rev2 FF's 2-stage board will fit in an Arc 123 twisty, but you will have to drill a hole for the screw to mount it. The post of the twistie should have plenty of thickness for this job. You will need to drill it about .050 off-center, as that's what it's designed for.

You might try asking the questions about the resistors in the Sandwich Shoppe forum, as Wayne checks ter more often than here, I think.

Thanks for the info. I'll refrain from milling off the center post on my 123 twisty and wait for the rev2 firefly boards to come out.

After you drill the hole, do you have to tap. Or will the hex screw self tap? The would be one small tap.

Yes, you would have to tap afre drilling. It is a standard 2-56 thread. The screw used is a stainless steel button head cap screw, which Wayne sells in a kit with the boards and an Allen key (hex wrench).
