80/85w halogen bulbs

So the new ORASM bulbs i bought are 80/85w.

exactly what do i need to modify in my car in order to run these bulbs?

will the stock harness work? i'm thinking it won't.

someone just told me all i needed was a relay.

The stock harness will not safely work with these bulbs; you will run the real risk of burned wires and/or other damage to the vehicle. At least upgraded wiring and relays will be needed, but you don't mention what kind of car you have. Depending on that, the bulbs you bought may or may not be safe to use even if you install adequate wiring and relays.

Another person has said that i can run up to 100w fine.

then someone else commented that i will need a 35amp relay.

i'm just trying to find out what i need in order to use them.

but before you buy, yes, let us know what you intend to use these in.

Whoever said that is wrong. There are no original harnesses capable of safely supporting 100w bulbs or anything close to it. And you still haven't said what kind of car you have. Without that information, you cannot get an accurate answer to your question.
