9N Help.

I tried searching and I apologize if im beating a dead horse. I just got a SF 9N in minty condition came with a B90 and a CN400 Charger. Just got it a holster to keep it warm at night. I know this is a grandfather flashilght, but I remember seeing some LAPD officers with these dual output bulbs back in the day. While searching I read some of Size15s threads. My question is the tailcap setting indicator doesn't line up with and the on, off , charge (lightning bolt) on the body and work like its supposed as well as the bezel low/high indicator on bezel. The low beam goes on, but turns off when the highbeam goes on too. The low bulb stays on when the high bulb goes on right? It's working intermittenly I always have to play with both end to make it work. I want to see its something else besides the bulb before I put a new N90 I have which came with a nylon hex screw. Mine has a metal hex screw with a non-metallic washer. Do I have an old bulb. I read also to bend something but didn't know what spot to bend or what to bend. My bulb is clean and not brown like some reported. Also is there an aftermarket lense my Lexan lense has tiny bubbles in the middle like it's melting with the beam heat.
