First two questions on anodizing aluminum,
If I had a light with tail cap and head in bare aluminum and wanted it anodized would it be practical to simply assemble the lamp and anodize it that way or would the anodizing fuse, stick, gum up or otherwise get funky in where the components meet?
If I wanted the battery tub chem coated inside like Surefire does how would that be done? I think I heard somewhere that first you'd chem coat the whole body and then anodize because the anodizing will go right through any exposed chem coat.
Now is there anything special about anodizing titanium I should be aware of? Like is it more or less durable, a more expensive process, that kind of stuff.
